The Holy Monastery of Christ the Saviour, the Lord God Almighty (Pantokrator), which lies in the village of Saint Athanasios, Corfu -Greece, knows well that what is hidden is more secure spiritually than that which is exposed to the eyes of people. Nevertheless, in response to repeated request from many pilgrims, over a period of time, for the publication of materials that testify to the existence of the monastery, we have, by way of exception, given way to their love. Consequently, we humbly ask of everyone, and especially of His Grace Nektarios, the Right Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu and Paxoi, to whom the monastery is particularly grateful for his paternal protection, that they will pray for a seemly, whole-hearted response on the part of the community to the call of its Lord and God.
