Despite the technological evolution, the way of making jams stays the same, just as our grandmothers taught us. In our country, everyone has tasted a spoonsweet at least once in his life. That`s why I named this book "The sweets of life". I would never forget my grandmother and my mother who thought it was unacceptable not to have a spoonsweet in our house: fig, cherry, quince, apricot, grape etc. Not to mention the marmalades, the preserves and the molasses; the must, the must-cakes and the must-jeelly.
